Family-Friendly Taproom Policy

Families are welcome at Four Saints

Great Beer for Great People includes families. We want adults, children, regulars, and first-time guests to feel comfortable here. We also operate a working brewery and a busy shared taproom with glassware, staff carrying drinks, service paths, equipment, and other guests. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, children must stay with their grown-ups.

Who may visit

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult age 21 or older throughout the visit. Children are welcome during regular taproom hours unless an event or area is specifically identified as 21+.

What active supervision means

  • Children must remain seated with their party or within the supervising adult’s immediate reach.
  • Children may not be left unattended or allowed to roam between tables, guest areas, or outside areas.
  • The supervising adult—not Four Saints staff—is responsible for the child’s location, safety, and behavior at all times.

Safe taproom behavior

  • No running, roaming, climbing, rough play, throwing objects, or riding wheeled toys.
  • Keep bar and service paths, entrances, exits, hallways, and restroom access clear.
  • Children may not enter production, storage, office, behind-the-bar, or other staff-only areas.
  • Restrooms are not play areas. Use furniture, games, décor, and taproom equipment as intended.

Adult responsibility

The accompanying adult is responsible for the child’s conduct and for damage caused by misuse of Four Saints property. Staff cannot provide childcare or monitor children while adults order, socialize, or move to another area. Directions from Four Saints staff must be followed immediately.

Alcohol

Alcohol is for guests age 21 and older only. Alcohol may not be purchased for, given to, shared with, possessed by, or consumed by anyone under 21.

How we enforce the policy

When behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or outside the scope of this policy, staff will normally ask the accompanying adult to correct it. If the behavior continues, supervision is not restored, or a second conversation is necessary, the entire party will be asked to leave. Dangerous, aggressive, destructive, or unlawful behavior may result in immediate departure without a prior reminder. For everyone’s safety, the decision of the Four Saints staff member or manager on duty is final.

Where the policy applies

This policy applies throughout all Four Saints-controlled guest areas, indoors and outdoors, including the taproom, restrooms, entrances, exits, and any patio, sidewalk, or event space on our premises. Specific events may have stricter age requirements, which we will post in advance when practical.

Thank you for helping us keep Four Saints safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
